Community & Content Coordinator
The Goods Mart is a modern convenience store and snack discovery platform focused on emerging CPG brands and better-for-you products. Our mission: help build the next iconic snack brand while creating a better convenience store experience.
We partner with incredible founders shaping the future of food and bring their products directly to our customers. The store is a neighborhood staple and a place of discovery. Our curation vertical connects partnering brands with hotels, cafes, co-working spaces, and office pantries nationwide.
The Role
You're the person who makes The Goods Mart feel alive! You'll work directly with our founder to grow our presence on TikTok and Instagram, and you'll own the calendar of events that make our store a neighborhood destination. This is a role with real creative ownership and visibility including exposure to major industry moments like Fast Company Innovation Festival, TED, and other high profile events. If you're passionate about food, community, and emerging brands, and you thrive in an organized, fast-moving environment, this is your seat at the table.
What You'll Do
Social (TikTok + Instagram)
- Shoot, edit, and post content daily — product features, brand stories, behind-the-scenes, community moments
- Own our TikTok presence from the ground up
- Manage IG feed, Reels, and Stories with a consistent POV
- Pull content from events, store ops, and founder (Rachel is excited for your creative outlook)
- Track performance and bring ideas based on what's working
Community & Events
- Own the events calendar — BBQs, run clubs, pop-ups, brand activations, and assist on larger industry events including Fast Company Innovation Festival, TED, CNBC Changemakers, etc.
- Source local partners, coordinate logistics, and lead on-site execution
- Serve as the primary point person to ensure all events run smoothly and partners are supported
- Build relationships with Williamsburg Wharf residents and the surrounding neighborhood
- Manage in-store marketing — signage, sampling, seasonal moments
Brand Collaboration
- Support product launches, collaborations, and special campaigns both online and in-store
- Coordinate partner activations, giveaways, and in-store experiences
- Serve as the primary point of contact for brand partners
- Collaborate with partners to create compelling social content and community moments

- You're passionate about food, emerging brands, and small business
Experience
- 1–2 years in social media, events, marketing, or community building
- A portfolio or examples of content you've created (personal counts)
- Experience with basic video editing (CapCut, Reels tools, etc.)
Compensation
Starting at $55,000 + product perks, growth potential, and front-row access to the CPG world
