What We Learned
Craving Crunch: Our top performers had one big thing in common: big crunch.
Unique Flavors: From salsa verde to cacio e pepe, who said snacks can't have big foodie flavors?
Real Ingredients: Sometimes the best ingredients are the most obvious. Plain old sugar is making a comeback (just in smaller amounts).
High Protein: A clear majority of our survey takers are seeking out high, protein while tastemakers eye an animal-based protein comeback.
Sustainability: Consumers want sustainability but they relay on brand packaging for proper education and guidance.
