Yolélé Yassa! Fonio Chips
Yolélé! Means “Let the Good Times Roll!” in Fulani. At Yolélé, they celebrate the ingredients and food traditions of Africa. Yolélé was founded by Chef Pierre Thiam & Philip Teveron to create economic opportunities for smallholder farming communities; to support their biodiverse, regenerative, and climate-resilient farming systems; and to share Africa’s ingredients and flavors with the world.
Yassa! fonio chips have THE MOST unique flavors (bright habanero chili, sweet caramelized onion, and zesty lime) found in any chip. No wonder Yassa is one of the most popular dishes in all of Senegal. Spicy + citrusy. Savor them on their own, stuff them in a sandwich, dip ’em in guacamole, salsa, or hummus!
